January 30- Martyrdom Day
On the martyr's day, the countrymen remember the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the country. To this day we also remember the great men who sacrificed their lives to liberate the country.
We celebrate martyrdom every year on different days. One of those days is January 30, too. It was on this date that President Mahatma Gandhi was shot dead. Every year, we remember Mahatma Gandhi as well as the sacrifices of our sacrifice for the country.
This date is most important as a martyr day. On this day in 1948, Nathuram Godse had assassinated Mahatma Gandhi. From then on we celebrate Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 every year. A special tribute member is also organized on this day.
How is the Martyrdom Day celebrated?
Every year on this day, the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Defense Minister and President of the three armies pay their tribute to the tomb of Mahatma Gandhi in Rajghat. Along with this, the Jawans of the army put down their arms in their honor, paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at this time.
January 30th is celebrated as a 'martyr day' across the country. On this day, Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated at New Delhi. Bapu's Nirvana Day is a practice of two minutes of silence all over the country, remembering the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country during the entire freedom movement.
Bapu's theory
Through the life of Gandhi Bapu, who has struggled for everlasting values like non-violence, brotherhood, truth, many people in the country and in the world have inspired and made their lives happy. Many nation-presidents have succeeded in formulating their political and social programs through their principles. Even today, there is a very large class of people who follow the values of Gandhiji's life. Against this, it is felt that the Gandhi values are depleting in our country. Gandhi is becoming just a name for political leaders and parties. Since the name is needed to get votes, we are reluctantly using it, but the common people are finding it difficult to forget the values and policies of Gandhi. The 'martyrdom day' is becoming a mere formality. Some don't even have two minutes of silence. It is possible that some may not like Gandhi's values. In democracy, everyone has the right to express his or her opinion. But 'Martyrs' Day' is an opportunity to remember the martyrs of the entire country. It is desirable to preserve this day's honor.Gandhi's values
When India has become a market for imported goods from around the world today, we do not like Gandhi's indigenous thinking. Today's practice of lying on lies following the Duggle does not follow Gandhi's insistence on the truth. Today's society that values violence on a daily basis does not understand Gandhi's principle of non-violence. We are not fond of showing Gandhi's body wrapped in a linen, not fashionable. All of this seems natural, but the times, the environment and the circumstances in which Gandhi lived with these principles were more adverse than today. And that is why there is a need for the spread of Gandhi values today even more than ever before. Indeed, Einstein said to Gandhi that 'people would not believe that such a human being was really alive'. That is, people cannot believe that living with such values. We have proven this statement to be true in less than a century today.Come as the common people of the country by bowing down to all the anonymous martyrs who have sacrificed for the freedom and happiness of Mabhom.
