The purpose and objective of the scheme is to collect in detail and methodically all the information required for effective disaster management in the school.  Establish an emergency response system in the school.  Equipping the school-group to resist any crisis.  Determining roles and responsibilities for effective resistance. Raising awareness in the school group and increasing their capacity.  Implementing mitigation activities in the school.  Increase participation in various stakeholders.

Section-2.  Assessing disaster, risk and vulnerability. 

 Disasters are incidents or physical conditions that can lead to accidents, injuries to people, damage to property, damage to infrastructure, agricultural destruction, and damage to the environment, business or other types of damage.  Risk is the associated aspect of the probability that a disaster will occur.  Risk has been compared to frightening possibilities or it can lead to loss or damage.  Weakness is a condition in which human habitation, housing, agricultural crops, or even health problems are caused by its creation or its proximity to the catastrophic natural conditions of the land.  The main objective of Disaster, Risk and Disability Assessment is to find risk based solutions to the alternative unintended consequences of any disaster and also to pay special attention to vulnerabilities, reduce disasters and prepare for disaster preparedness.  For this, the least damage is done and the problems and possible solutions for saving human life are considered in advance.

 Preparation Equipping means carrying out activities that aim to reduce the risks of various disasters, make resistance work effective and increase capacity.  Disaster Preparedness To reduce the effects of a disaster, increase resilience before a catastrophic situation arises.  It is very important for school staff to be committed to resisting any disaster situation.  Children who are the future of tomorrow. They should have a safe learning environment and should be done to resist any crisis situation.  To rehearse this, it is suggested that each school should form a school DM committee with sub-committees / teams for better disaster preparedness and resistance.  (A) Formation of School Disaster Management Committee.  (SDMC), School for conducting various preparations and mitigation activities regarding resistance plan.  Disaster Management Committee should be formed.  The SDMC (School Disaster Management Committee) should be functioning throughout the year.  The SDMC (School Disaster Management Committee) trains school students, teachers and other staff to be aware of such activities, conduct various activities and train them to resist any emergency
